Which flowers should not be planted in the garden?

In the garden, plant what you like? Not really ! Some plants and flowers can be dangerous , allergenic or even annoying for our neighbours. This is the case, for example, of colchiques, hemlock, mimosa, which are very toxic, but also crocuses, violets, snowdrops because they contain pollen, and therefore should be avoided for people suffering from allergies. 

Also, some trees should not be planted in the garden. By losing their leaves or spreading, they can in fact bother neighbors or clog pipes. This is particularly the case with the weeping willow, the ash or even the Chinese pear tree!


Why not plant these flowers in the garden?

If some flowers are useful in the garden, especially in the vegetable garden, others should not be planted in our green space, for several reasons. First of all, some can be toxic : although they are aesthetic, you have to follow a few rules so as not to take any risks in your garden. If you have trouble recognizing poisonous plants, it is best not to plant them and keep them out of reach of children.
